Report your mileage for Ride 365
Ride 365 is H-D’s mileage logging program: your dealer takes an odometer reading and it goes on your record. H.O.G. counts you as active after two readings in a calendar year, and a chapter needs at least half its members to have two to qualify for the 2026 Chrome Chapter Recognition Program. So Kickstand reminds you on Home, and you tap a button when each report is done.
Kickstand doesn’t send anything to H-D and can’t see your readings. The buttons only tell Kickstand that you made the report.
When the reminders appear
Section titled “When the reminders appear”- Your first report: from March 1 each year, or from the day you join if that is later. The card is titled “Your first Ride 365 mileage report”.
- Your second report: 30 days after you tap 1st Report Made. From October 1 on there’s no wait, so the second reminder shows as soon as you’ve made the first. The card is titled “Your second Ride 365 mileage report”.
- Each calendar year starts over. The first reminder comes back on March 1.
- You see the reminder if you’re an active member of a chapter. It sits near the top of Home, below any chapter invitations.

Tell Kickstand you made a report
Section titled “Tell Kickstand you made a report”- Have your Harley-Davidson dealer take an odometer reading.
- Open Home.
- On the reminder card, tap 1st Report Made or 2nd Report Made, whichever the card shows.
Kickstand records today’s date and shows a short message:
- After your first report early in the season: “Got it. We’ll check back in about a month for your second report.”
- After your first report on October 1 or later: “Got it. One more to go.” The second reminder shows right away.
- After your second report: “That’s both reports for the year. Thank you. Keep reporting mileage until the end of the season!” The reminder is gone for the rest of the year.

Snooze the reminder
Section titled “Snooze the reminder”Not ready yet? Tap Snooze. The card disappears and the app says “Snoozed. We’ll ask again in a week.” After a week it comes back, and you can snooze it again.
The second reminder doesn’t expire on its own. It keeps coming back until you tap 2nd Report Made, and stops after December 31.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- It’s self-reported. Kickstand takes your word and doesn’t check with H-D. Tap only after the reading is done. The app has no undo button.
- It isn’t H-D’s count. H-D’s Ride 365 system holds the real readings. Your chapter’s officers can check the official count under Manage My Chapter on the H.O.G. site.
- Your officers see totals. They see how many members have made one report and how many have made two, which helps them plan. See Track Ride 365 reports and the Chrome checklist.
- The reminder shows in the app only. It isn’t sent by email or text.
